Tiger Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Cubs Old Tree

Rendered in the traditional manner, this tiger scroll painting makes the cubs old tree theme its own. There is a calm confidence in the strokes, the mark of a practiced hand. As a piece of elegant chinese wall scroll, it reads clearly from across the room and keeps giving on closer inspection.

Collectors will linger on the old tree, rendered here with unforced detail. Against the silk ground, the stream reads clearly at any distance. Painted with an easy, practiced brush, the tiger family feels observed rather than invented. Drawn with economical strokes, the cubs keeps the scene grounded and honest. Autumn colors the scene, warm against the ink's cool restraint.

As a piece of classical chinese artwork, it carries the calm authority of the classical tradition. A calm picture for a busy house, and all the more welcome for it. It arrives ready to hang and settles in quickly.
