Chinese Beauty Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Women Basket

This beauty scroll painting takes up the women basket theme in the language of classical Chinese art. Lines are laid down with conviction, then left alone to stand on their own. As a piece of elegant chinese wall scroll, it reads clearly from across the room and keeps giving on closer inspection.

Against the silk ground, the scholar reads clearly at any distance. The flowers settles naturally into the scene, balanced against the larger forms. The women appears as a small pleasure of the composition, easily missed and worth finding. The basket appears as a small pleasure of the composition, easily missed and worth finding. Pines cling to the cliffs, their twisted forms a study in resilience.

As a piece of chinese silk scroll painting, it carries the calm authority of the classical tradition. It suits a study, a tea room, or any corner meant for unhurried hours. It suits both modern and traditional rooms.
