Lotus Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – White Peony Birds Golden

Unroll this lotus scroll painting and the white peony birds golden theme opens out in classical form. The work reads as a whole from across the room and rewards a closer look too. It belongs with the best of serene chinese wall decor, the sort that settles into a room from day one.

Collectors will linger on the birds, rendered here with unforced detail. Collectors will linger on the white peony, rendered here with unforced detail. Golden accents catch the light, lending the scene a quiet opulence. There is an unhurried rhythm to the brushwork that sets the tone of the whole piece. The painter's hand is visible in the best way: present, then gone.

As asian wall decor, it asks for nothing more than a good wall and soft light. It holds its own in a gallery wall and shines brightest with space around it. One hook and it is up; the scroll hangs straight from day one.
